On my very last day in the UK before flying off to my new job in Canada, I gave the closing keynote talk at the MeCCSA Annual Conference, January 2018. MeCCSA is the UK’s Media, Communications and Cultural Studies Association. The conference theme was ‘creativity and agency’, so I took that as the starting point.
